Association of Gaming Industry in Bulgaria won the prize for Outstanding Contribution of the Year at BEGE Awards that were held in club Black&White, Palms Royale Sofia. The prestigious awards celebrate top achievements in Europe’s gaming and entertainment industry. At the event, the most successful and innovative companies, products and solutions in the industry were awarded in 22 categories.
Accepting the award, Milo Borisov, member of the Association’s Board of Directors, said: “Thank you for this award. Since its inception in 1992, AIIB has made it its goal to protect the interests of its members and to work actively for the development of the gaming industry nationally and internationally, and I’m proud that we are accomplishing our goals.“
“In recent years, there has been a trend for our country to become a technology hub for foreign companies. This contributes immensely to the development of our economy in many different aspects. We believe that to be even more attractive in the market, it is important to create good conditions for companies, and we are proud that our efforts have reaped success. Thank you for the award and for the recognition,” added Angel Iribozov, Chairman of the Board of AGIB.
Since 2008, the AGIB has been organizing the largest gaming industry exhibition in Central and Eastern Europe – the Balkan Entertainment and Gaming Exhibition (BEGE), as well as the Eastern European Gaming Summit (EEGS), which gathers industry expert to discuss the latest trends in the industry. The annual BEGE Awards are part of the BEGE programme.
