A round table between representatives of the National Revenue Agency and various gaming organizers and operators in Bulgaria was held during the last day of the Balkan Gaming and Entertainment Exhibition (BEGE). The event took place on 24th of November at Inter Expo Center, Sofia. The meeting was moderated by a representative of the Association of Gaming Industry in Bulgaria (AGIB), which initiated the exhibition.
The issue of unlicensed online operators and the expansion of the list of banned sites in Bulgaria were among the discussed topics. The participants also commented marketing techniques and means of announcing bonuses to customers within the meaning of the Gambling Act. The operators asked questions about the register of gambling addicts, which is expected to be activated in December.
The round table sets a good start to a discussion between the gaming regulator and the individual organizers of gambling in Bulgaria. This meeting laid the groundwork for even more effective future cooperation between the public institution and private businesses.
