The organizers of gambling games comply with the legislation restrictions and don’t allow people who are listed on the list of vulnerable people into gaming facilities. This is what Ginka Panaretova, Director of the Supervision of Gambling and Gambling Activities at the National Revenue Agency, told Bloomberg TV. She added that inspections are carried out regularly.

During the interview, Panaretova shared that gambling operators do not have access to the Register of vulnerable people. “Only NRA employees have access to the register itself. Since this is sensitive information, none of the gambling organizers or other institutions have access to the register. When a person tries to access a gambling site or hall, his data is checked and then it becomes clear whether this person can access the service or not because he is on the register”, said Panaretova.

The Director of the Supervision of Gambling and Gambling Activities commented on the issue of fast loans that banks grant to vulnerable people. She explained that in European countries there are different practices regarding the connectivity of such registers for gambling addicts with banking institutions that usually refuse lending money to such people. Ginka Panaretova said that in Bulgaria such a legal opportunity is not yet provided.
