As part of the European Safer Gambling Week 2024 (ESGW24), the Responsible Gaming Foundation (Bulgaria), supported by AGIB, presented its insightful webinar, “Safely Sailing: Helping Young People to Cope with Gambling Temptation and Excessive Gaming.” This event, included in the official agenda of the European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA), highlighted the pressing issue of gambling temptations and excessive gaming among young people and provided practical strategies for prevention and support.

The webinar took place on November 19 and explored how to empower younger audiences to make informed decisions while raising awareness of the risks associated with gambling and excessive gaming. Experts shared valuable tools and methodologies to promote responsible behaviour, helping young people maintain a healthy balance between gaming and other aspects of life.

European Safer Gambling Week 2024 (18–24 November) provided a platform for industry professionals, organizations, and experts to come together and share best practices in safer gambling. The inclusion of the Responsible Gaming Foundation’s webinar in EGBA’s agenda underscores the foundation’s commitment to advancing responsible gaming initiatives and fostering a safer gambling environment for all.
